It is a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to use its expertise, dedicated people and unique approach to innovation to develop and market advanced therapies that address some of the world’s most complex and serious diseases. Together with its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pharmacyclics, AbbVie employs more than 28,000 people worldwide and markets medicines in more than 170 countries.

AbbVie employs more than 400 people at five manufacturing and commercial sites in Ireland. The company’s commercial headquarters is in Dublin, as is a European manufacturing and engineering services headquarters. AbbVie also has two manufacturing plants in Sligo and one in Cork.

Nestle is not only the world’s largest nutrition, health and wellness company but is also, through the Nestlé Nutrition Institute (NNI), the world’s largest publisher of nutritional papers and journals. It is therefore well-placed to work with organisations such as the INHA to help respond to the new nutritional challenges posed by small and very small preterm infants.

The INHA would like to thank Nestle for their unrestricted educational grant which was used to part fund the creation of this website.
